What is furnace studded tube?
In order to improve the heat transfer coefficient on both sides of the furnace tube, certain specifications of pin fins are welded on the outer wall of the furnace tube. The furnace tube with pin fins is called studded tube.
Principle of studded tube:
classical heat exchangers, such as flue gas water heat exchanger, which conduct heat exchange in the shell side of gas and heat exchange tube of water, can realize gas temperature rise and fall, while the liquid temperature on the other side increases or decreases accordingly. The liquid in the heat exchange tube can be water, heat transfer oil and other cooling and heating media, or other chemical liquids. The nail head pipe / studded tube shall be used for the waste heat recovery of industrial furnace flue gas such as industrial boilers, kilns and blast furnaces.
