Lord Fin Tube--Finned tube radiators

Finned Tube Radiators Introduction:

Finned tube radiators are among the most widely used heat transfer equipment in gas and liquid heat exchangers. They achieve enhanced heat transfer by installing fins onto a common substrate tube. Base pipes can be made of materials such as steel, stainless steel, or brass, while fins can be made of steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, and similar materials.

Finned Tube Radiators Structure:

Finned radiator fins can be categorized into chip-shaped fins, serpentine fins, lug-type fins, and flaking fins. Currently, the most commonly used type is the steel-aluminum composite fin tube. This type utilizes the pressure resistance and efficient heat conduction properties of aluminum pipes, which are then composite-manufactured using specialized machinery. At a working temperature of 210°C, the contact resistance of this composite is nearly zero, offering advantages that are irreplaceable by other types of finned tube radiators.

Finned Tube Radiators Selection Criteria:

1. Thermal Performance: The heat transfer coefficient (K value) of a finned radiator should be high, indicating better thermal performance. Methods to enhance heat dissipation include increasing the cooling fin area, improving airflow rate, and enhancing radiator radiating strength.

2. Economic Considerations: The ideal finned radiator should consume less metal while efficiently transferring heat, thereby reducing costs and improving overall economy. The metal heat intensity of a radiator serves as an indicator of its economic efficiency.

3. Installation and Process: Finned radiators should possess adequate mechanical strength and load-bearing capacity. Their structure should be conducive to mixing into the required cooling area, with compact dimensions to minimize space requirements. Additionally, the production process should facilitate mass production.

4. Hygiene and Aesthetics: A smooth appearance that resists fouling and is easy to clean is desirable for finned radiators. Their installation should not detract from the aesthetics of the room.

5. Durability: Finned radiators should be resistant to corrosion and damage, ensuring a long service life.
