Our Studded Pin Finned Tube welding machine is equipped with the Siemens SINUMERIK 802 control system, delivering easy and intuitive operation. This highly automated equipment is designed to weld steel pins onto base pipes for boiler applications. It automatically performs pin feeding (2 heads), welding, indexing, base tube feeding, and more. Both the pin pitch and the pin angle are freely adjustable.
Specifically built for high‑frequency welding of cylindrical pins onto the outer surface of base tubes, the machine positions the pins in a spiral pattern. With pin diameters of 8–16 mm and lengths of 20–50 mm, it increases the heat transfer area to 3–8 times that of a plain tube. Core functions include base tube positioning, dual‑head pin feeding, high‑frequency welding, indexing, base tube feeding, and finished product inspection. The system processes a wide range of materials, including carbon steel, chrome steel (0Cr13), and stainless steel (Cr18Ni8).
