Lord Fin Tube-High-frequency welding finned tube

The high-frequency welding finned tube uses the skin effect and proximity effect of the high-frequency current to heat the steel strip and the outer surface of the steel tube while the steel strip is wound around the steel pipe, until the steel strip is in the plastic state or melting, under a certain pressure of the wound steel strip. This is a solid-phase welding, not a high-frequency welding. In terms of product quality (high welding rate of fins, up to 95%), productivity, and degree of automation, it is more advanced than inlaying, brazing (or integral hot-dip galvanizing), and other methods. Adopt high-frequency current, welding while winding, so the base tube and fin are essentially integrated, and the welding rate is an important judging factor of fin tube quality.

How to mark high-frequency welding finned tube and fin structure

Use CPG to represent the abbreviation of finned pipe. The structural characteristics, materials, and processing methods of finned tubes can be expressed by the following series of numbers or symbols:

CPG (φDb×δ/ Df / P / T –X /Y –A)

Among them: CPG: finned tube; φDb×δ: base tube outer diameter and thickness; Df: fin outer diameter, mm; P: fin pitch, mm;

T: fin thickness, mm; X: base tube material; Y: fin material; where: Fe: iron; Al: aluminum; Cu: copper

A: Processing method: I: high frequency welding (default if not marked); other to be determined. See the mark below.

For example: CPG (φ32×3.5 / 64/8/1 -Fe / Fe) shows that the outer diameter of the base tube of this finned tube is 32mm, the wall thickness is 3.5mm, and the outer diameter of the fin is 64mm, (that is, the fin height is 16mm),

The fin pitch is 8mm and the fin thickness is 1mm. Both the base tube and the fins are carbon steel and are high-frequency welded tubes.

In addition, sometimes it is necessary to separately label the structural parameters of the fin itself, the labeling method is as follows:

CP( Db / Df / P / T –Y)

The meaning of each symbol is the same as that of the finned tube. Examples are as follows:

For example: CP (32 / 62/8/1 -Fe) Description The outer diameter of the base tube of this fin is 32mm, the outer diameter of the fin is 62mm (the height of the fin is 15mm),

The fin pitch is 8mm, the fin thickness is 1mm, and the material is carbon steel.

The high-frequency welding finned tube is suitable for high temperature and high pressure occasions. The base tube is made of stainless steel or ND steel for corrosion protection. When the cooling temperature is above the dew point, it is clear that there is no working environment where condensate is generated. Ordinary carbon steel can also be used as the base tube.

The thickness of high-frequency welding finned tube is usually above 0.8. Due to the limitation of processing technology, the fin height is preferably smaller than the radius of the base tube. If high fins are required, they can be made into open-tooth fins. It is now widely used in the preheating recovery of the power, metallurgy, cement industry and petrochemical industries.
