GKL Embedded Finned Tube Production Line Main Technical Parameters and Performance Metrics

I. GKL Embedded Finned Tube Production Line Mainframe Platform

The embedded finned tube production line equipment, which has been successfully manufactured through years of experience and practice, has gradually entered the market. This equipment draws on advanced technology from Mcelroy Company in the United States and embedded finned tube equipment from the United Kingdom, upgraded with PLC control according to domestic production requirements. It features advanced technology, stable fin spacing, firm embedding, a pull-out force of not less than 80N, a permissible medium temperature of up to 400°C, strong temperature resistance, and heat shock resistance. It is characterized by simple operation, stable performance, a wide range of processing diameters, and high production efficiency. It is mainly used in industrial air coolers, cooling systems, civilian heating radiators, and air heating for material drying.

Embedded spiral finned tubes are prepared by pre-processing spiral grooves of a certain width and depth on steel pipes and then embedding aluminum strips on the steel pipes on a lathe. During winding, due to a certain pre-tightening force, the aluminum strip is tightly pressed into the spiral groove, ensuring a certain contact area between the aluminum strip and the steel pipe. To prevent the aluminum strip from rebounding and falling off, the ends of the aluminum strip must be welded to the steel pipe. To facilitate embedding, there should be a certain clearance between the aluminum strip and the spiral groove. If the clearance is too small, it will result in interference, making the embedding process difficult. In addition, the wound aluminum strip will always have some rebound, which results in poor bonding between the aluminum strip and the bottom of the spiral groove.

IV. GKL Finned Tube Equipment Processing Product Technical Parameters:

1. Embedding Depth and Stability

   1.1 Processing Pipe Diameter: DN16~38 (national standard)

   1.2 Suitable Pipe Materials: Carbon steel, stainless steel, copper (pipe wall thickness ≥2mm)

   1.3 Suitable Fin Material: Aluminum fins, copper fins (fin thickness 0.35~0.4±1).

   1.4 Capable of processing KLM embossed finned tubes, LL wound finned tubes.

   1.5 Fin Spacing Accuracy: 1mm/10 fins

   1.6 After embedding, there should be no visible cracks or fissures on the pipe surface.

   1.7 Embedded fin height is calculated based on the pipe diameter, generally around half the pipe diameter but not exceeding 57, positive or negative.

2. Finned Tube Dimensional Accuracy

   2.1 Fin Segment Full Length: -5mm ~ +5mm, Segment Motion Accuracy: -0.3mm ~ +0.4mm

   2.2 Fin Spacing: Above +0.21mm

   2.3 Fin-to-Steel Pipe Verticality: -1 degree ~ +1 degree

   2.4 Embedding Flatness: -0.1mm ~ +0.1mm, excluding height differences caused by fin thickness tolerances.

   2.5 Embedding Height Difference: -0.1mm ~ +0.1mm, excluding height differences caused by fin size tolerances.

   2.6 Under the same conditions of steel pipe material, fin spacing, and number of fins, the length change after embedding in different finned tubes is consistent.
