Products Description
Superheater Description
A superheater is a vital component within an industrial boiler, designed to elevate the temperature of saturated steam, transforming it into superheated steam. To maintain operational stability, the superheated steam temperature is carefully regulated within an allowable range, typically fluctuating between 540℃ to 550℃ when the boiler is under varying loads.
Both superheaters and reheaters serve as integral elements of the heating surfaces, strategically employed to augment steam temperature. Their significance lies in enhancing the overall efficiency of thermal circulation, particularly beneficial for power stations.
In the steam boiler system, water is heated to produce steam. Initially, the steam is saturated, meaning its temperature aligns with that of boiling water. The incorporation of a superheater enables an additional boost in steam temperature beyond its saturation point.
Positioned along the path of flue gases or combustion gases subsequent to their passage through the boiler, the superheater facilitates the transfer of extra heat to the steam. This process elevates both the temperature and energy content of the steam. Superheated steam presents notable advantages over saturated steam, including heightened energy content, enhanced efficiency in specific industrial processes, and superior temperature control for diverse applications.

Horizontal type |
1. Proper drainage 2. Good structural rigidity |
1. They do not view the flam directly so they are mainly from the convective type |
Usually supported in the vertical gas ducts parallel to the main furnace. |
Superheaters can be categorized into distinct types based on their location within the boiler system, such as radiant superheaters and convection superheaters. Their pivotal role in optimizing the efficiency and functionality of steam-based systems cannot be overstated.
