Products Description
What is membrane ba or membrane water-cooled wall fins?
The function of the membrane water-cooled wall is to absorb the radiant heat of the high-temperature flame or flue gas in the furnace, generate steam or hot water in the pipe, reduce the temperature of the furnace wall, and protect the furnace wall. In large-capacity boilers, the flame temperature in the furnace is very high and the heat radiation intensity is very high. 40~50% or more of the heat in the boiler is absorbed by the membrane water-cooled wall. Except for a few small-capacity boilers, the membrane water-cooled wall is the most important evaporation heating surface in modern water tube boilers.
The membrane water-cooled wall fin also called membrane bar is a heat transfer element installed on the wall of the boiler combustion zone, which consists of fins, tubes, supports and other parts. Among them, the fins, as the core component, are composed of uniformly arranged thin plates, have high thermal conductivity, can effectively increase the heating area, and improve the efficiency of heat energy transfer. At the same time, the fins are closely combined with the tubes, which enhances the strength and rigidity of the entire membrane water-cooled wall and avoids the deformation and cracking of the heated area.
The main role of membrane water-cooled wall fins in power station boilers:
1. The membrane water-cooled wall fins can effectively increase the heating area. Since the fins have high thermal conductivity, the heat energy inside the boiler can be more fully transferred to the surface of the membrane water-cooled wall. By rationally designing the number and arrangement of fins, the heating area of the membrane water-cooled wall can be significantly increased, thereby improving the utilization rate of thermal energy and reducing energy consumption.
2. The membrane water-cooled wall fins can improve the heating conditions. Due to the presence of fins, the surface area of the membrane water-cooled wall is more evenly distributed, so that heat can be evenly absorbed and transferred, avoiding the generation of local high temperature. This not only helps to extend the service life of the membrane water-cooled wall, but also improves the safety and stability of the boiler.
3. The membrane water-cooled wall fins also have the function of closing the furnace in the power station boiler. By connecting the heating surface, the fins can effectively reduce heat loss and improve the thermal efficiency of the boiler. At the same time, the presence of fins can also improve the airflow distribution in the furnace, optimize the combustion process, and improve the combustion efficiency.
Sizes of Membrane bar|Membrane water-cooled wall fins
The conventional sizes of flat steel can vary according to different countries and standards. The following are some common flat steel sizes
1. Chinese standard: The width is generally 12mm, 16mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 40mm, 50mm60mm, 70mm, 80mm, 90mm, 100mm, etc., and the thickness is generally 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 16mm, 18mm, 20mm, etc.
2. American standard: The width is generally 1/8 inch, 3/16 inch, 1/4 inch, 3/8 inch, 1/2 inch, 5/8 inch 3/4 inch, 1 inch, etc., and the thickness is generally 1/16 inch, 1/8 inch, 3/16 inch, 1/4 inch, 3/8 inch, 1/2 inch, 5/8 inch, 3/4 inch, 1 inch, etc.
3. European standard: The width is generally 10mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, 70mm, 80mm, 90mm, 100mm, etc., and the thickness is generally 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, 20mm, etc.
It should be noted that the above are only common flat steel sizes, and there are more different sizes of flat steel to choose from in actual applications. In addition to width and thickness, the length of the flat steel is also an important dimensional parameter, which is usually processed according to customer needs. Common lengths include 6 meters, 9 meters, 12 meters, etc.

Membrane water-cooled wall fin material
Common materials include 20G, 15CrMo, 12Cr1MoV and SA387-GR12CL2 and other alloy structural steels. These materials have excellent heat resistance and corrosion resistance, and can maintain stable performance under high temperature and harsh environments. At the same time, they also have good welding performance and are easy to process and install. This enables membrane water-cooled wall fins to be widely used in a variety of complex and harsh working environments.
